ABOUT US Who We Are Blue Canyon Capital is a private investment firm that makes long term investments in small to middle-market private companies. Blue Canyon was formed by a team of experienced investors, advisors and entrepreneurs with the goal of creating value through the management of an existing service or manufacturing business. Management Team Chris Hendriksen and Andy Schoonover are the founders and Managing Partners of Blue Canyon Capital. Their complementary skills, backgrounds and successful track records provide an excellent platform for successfully acquiring and growing companies Chris Hendriksen – Managing Partner Prior to founding Blue Canyon Capital, Chris worked for Thayer Capital Partners, a private equity firm in Washington, DC with $1.5 billion of capital under management. At Thayer, Chris focused on making and managing private company investments in the logistics, aerospace/defense and electronics manufacturing industries. Prior to Thayer, Chris was an analyst at William Blair & Company, a middle market investment bank in Chicago, working on mergers & acquisitions, public offerings and private placements across a broad range of industries. Chris received his MBA from Stanford University and a BBA from the University of Notre Dame. Andy Schoonover – Managing Partner Prior to founding Blue Canyon Capital, Andy worked for Host Marriott Corporation (now Host Hotels & Resorts, NYSE: HST). At Host, Andy worked with the Treasury, Asset Management and Acquisition and Development groups and completed transactions valued at approximately $1.5 billion. Andy has also held positions with Florida Capital Partners and Blue Ridge Capital. Andy received his MBA from Stanford University and his BS from the University of Virginia.
